DOES BOATPINS REQUIRE THE INTERNET?

Yes, an active 4G, 5G, or Wifi Connection is required to operate normally.

IS BOATPINS VOICE ENABLED?

Yes, there's an in-app help menu to help you learn or re-learn the voice commands on the fly.

Open the help menu with the voice command "open help".

HOW DO I TURN VOICE RECOGNITION ON?

To enable voice recognition for the first time, click the mic button on the interface and grant microphone permission.

WHEN DOES THE SPEECH RECOGNITION LISTEN?

The speech recognition engine only listens for a few seconds after clicking the microphone button in the app.

WHAT DATA IS SHARED?

None! The data shown on your interface is stored locally on your browser.

Any lists you choose to save in your BOATPINS Cloud is secured.

WHAT CAN I SAVE IN MY BOATPINS CLOUD?

You can save waypoint lists in your Cloud however Track history is not preserved at this time.

WHAT DEVICES ARE COMPATIBLE?

Most Android mobile devices are compatible.

The app requires the precense of an Absolute Orientation Sensor that produces a Quaternion object.
